A map-based Geo web service was developed as control room as a part of early warning system. The system application integrates geospatial services, Web Map Service and mapping mash up to provide an interactive and user-friendly interface. The objective of this research is to design, create and evaluate a map-based Geowebservice which integrates different data streams and acts as a control room to monitor potential natural disasters as part of early warning.
